What is International Law? Come
find out !
MILS is very excited to present
our first on-campus event of the
year - "international Law 101."
The event is meant ot provide
students with an informal
introduction to the broad field of
international law for a brief
one-hour session.
This year we are delighted and
privileged to have Professor Mark
Fathi Massoud adn Me Pearl Eliadis
as our guest speakers.
Professor Massoud teaches in
McGill's Faculty of Law in the
areas of international law, human
rights, and law and society. He is
currently teaching "Public
International Law" to upper year
students.
Pear Eliadis, a McGill grad, is a
well-known international lawyer.
With over 20 years experience in
law, human rights, national human
rights institutions and public
administration, Me Eliadis advises
governments and institutional
clients including the United
Nations, the European Commission,
the OSCE and NGOs.
Both speakers have a tremendous
amount of knowledge of private and
public international law topics,
and have much to offer in terms of
career advice.
Please join us during universal
break on Wednesday November 9th
from 12:45-1:45 in room 203.
